LODGING:

Participants in ALAMA 2012 are expected to contact the hotel or lodging of their choice and formalize the reservation on their own. Leganés is a town located 15 km. southwest of downtown Madrid, so the two most convenient choices are staying either in Leganés, or in downtown Madrid close to Atocha train station, the fastest connection with the Meeting site.

Here are some lodging possibilities:

Lodging in Leganés:

1. Hotel Tryp Leganés: Av de la Universidad 7, 28911 Leganés. Located 200 meters away from the Carlos III University Campus.
2. Colegio Mayor Fernando Abril Martorell: C/ Palmera 12, 28918 Leganés. University housing. It takes a 15-20 min. walk to get there from the Carlos III University Campus.

   There are 10 rooms available for ALAMA 2012 participants, at the following prices:

   • Single room: 41 euros
   • Double room: 28 euros per person

   None of the two prices includes breakfast, which costs 2 additional euros per person. To make a reservation, send an e-mail to Ms. Pilar Blasco to either of the two addresses

   indicating that you will attend the ALAMA 2012 Meeting. Available rooms will be assigned on a strict first-come-first-served basis.

Lodging in downtown Madrid, close to Atocha

1. Hotel Mora: Paseo del Prado 32, 28014 Madrid. Located across the street from Museo del Prado and side to side with Caixa Forum, a 10-15 min. walk away from Atocha train station.

   A limited number of rooms is offered to ALAMA 2012 attendees at a slight discount:

   • Double room: 69 euros
   • Double room used as single: 65 euros

   Both prices are without breakfast, which can be obtained at the hotel cafeteria, but is payed separately. When making the reservation, please indicate that you will attend the ALAMA 2012 Meeting

2. Hotel México: C/ Gobernador 24, 28014 Madrid. Located a 10-15 min. walk away from Atocha train station.
3. Hotel Mediodía: Plaza Emperador Carlos V 8, 28012 Madrid. Located across the street in the same square as Atocha train station.
4. Hotel NH Sur: Paseo Infanta Isabel 9, 28014 Madrid. Located across the street from the Cercanías Terminal at Atocha train station.
5. Hotel NH Nacional: Paseo del Prado 48, 28014 Madrid. Located across the street in the same square as Atocha train station.
